Goodbye to Gurley

The sunrise bordered on greatness all morning.  And it just never happened.  It was mostly cloudy except, as you can see, right where the Sun was coming up.  I guess that thin layer you see it rising through kept the light from getting under the other clouds.  Who knows.  

The Sun is now rising behind the nearest ridge — the Golan Heights — headed north, so we'll be saying goodbye to Gurley until the Fall.  From the overlook at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
