Turn Out the Lights

The party’s over. You won’t believe the things that local governments are doing to cut expenses. Turning out lights, shortening school weeks, selling helicopters and canceling the bus service. The New York Times has an interesting article about it. But nothing caught my attention quite like Rachel Maddow when she said we were “unpaving the roads”. Unpaving the roads. Seriously.
