The Moment Has Arrived

There was a pretty good crowd at the overlook this morning for the sunrise. (It's Saturday.)  I made the comment to one of my friends, "This is as quiet as people get — outside of church."  Those of us that watch so many sunrises tend to forget how magical it is to people that don't.  They sit there in silence, waiting for the moment they first see the Sun.  It really is a great moment.  I always wonder why folks don't come experience it more often.
