The Measure of Time

Long before the days of Stonehenge, man has taken the measure of time by the Sun.  I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but this #FlickrFriday falls on the summer solstice (for the northern hemisphere).  This was taken on Thursday, the earliest sunrise, this year, on Monte Sano State Park, in Huntsville, Alabama.
