The Sky Made Up
I arrived early this morning to catch the last of the meteor shower. So, of course, the sky started clouding up. That's fine. I'd rather shoot a nice sunrise than a meteor any day. But I was cold. I guessed wrong on the weather and it was colder and windier than I expected. Woe is me.
It's okay. The sky made up for it.
I try to never forget how privileged I am to be able to do this every morning. And don't let anybody ever fool you about it. Most of my privilege is just plain-old luck. I know people smarter than me, lots of people that have worked harder, people that have more. But I don't know many that are luckier.
