A Good Start

Well, my day got off to a good start.  How about you?

If you're ever in Mountain Home, Arkansas, you can go to the Cranfield Public Use Area for the sunrise. It's on Norfork Lake and run by the Army Corp of Engineers.  The spot you want is immediately east of the campground.  (Be quiet.  You're close enough to wake campers up.)  You have a large view across the lake free of lights. (Unless a fisherman parks there.)  Lots of lights to the south (the marina) but the east and north are pollution free.  For now.  $5 at the gate. (Automated.  Bring your charge card.)

I probably should have gone there for the sunset too.
