Yellow Surprise
I was wondering what I'd post this morning. The overlook on Monte Sano was in the clouds half the time so there was no sunrise to photograph. The walk up Bankhead Trail was as green as it was yesterday. But somewhere past the 1/2 mile marker I came across this yellow surprise in a thin spot of the canopy.
A lady walking by asked if I'd seen any humming birds. Nope. Danged if one didn't show up just a couple of minutes later. No, I didn't get any pictures of it. Like so many other things you see when you're out taking pictures, it's gone before you can get to it.
