A Nice Trailhead

The beginning of the Bankhead Trail won the prize this morning.  And to think I could have saved myself the mile hike in the sauna.  I'm sort of surprised.  I got a shot with the red Sun shining through the trees and then some nice flowers compositions.  But this one at the trailhead looked better.

I was really hoping for some fog but there was none. There was fog at the top before sunrise.  There was still fog all around the mountain on my way home.  But I didn't see a wisp of it on the trail.  Such is life on the mountain.
