I didn't catch the whole story.
I say hello to folks on the trail when I pass but I try not to intrude. I think I was doing something strange when she came by — like turning around and going backwards because the angle I was looking at was worse than the one I passed up. I probably felt the need to explain.

Anyway, she said something about a son in San Diego liking the Fall colors back here in the East. So I gave her a card and told her he could look at my Fall color pictures all he wanted. I hope he gets to see this one.
