One Day Was Today
On my way out of Monte Sano State Park this morning I noticed the pond in the Japanese garden was flooding so I took a chance the light wouldn't be too bad and stopped at the Monte Sano Nature Preserve on the way home. (I know it's confusing. They border each other. The State Park obviously belongs to the State and the Preserve belongs to the Land Trust of Northern Alabama.)
I hiked down the Alms House Trail to Fagan Creek and, lo and behold, it was full of water. It exceeded my expectations. I have a dozen I could show.
In case the title doesn't hit you, here's what it looks like when it's dry.
