A Giant Surrounded

A giant tree, cover in moss, is surrounded by bluebells on the Sinks Trail in Monte Sano State Park. I don't know if someone planted some bluebells, years ago, or if it's just a micro-climate thing.  But there's less than an acre of them in the middle of a still-brown forest.  It's a beautiful display.  The old-timers tell me it's a very early bloom this year.
