The Hanging Gardens of Monte Sano
I just happened to be walking up the Bankhead Trail right when the Sun crested the cliffs above the trail and lit the wildflowers hanging about 30 feet above me. The forest has all sorts of wildflowers blooming right now. A sharp-eyed friend pointed out the mayapples and pitcher plants putting on their displays.
It really is pretty if you can get there. They're blooming all along the trail in Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
