And Set Up the Tripod

Yeah.  So I'm always lecturing people that you have to show up.  This is true.  And set up the tripod.

It was a nasty morning on Monte Sano.  And I forgot my coffee cup. I'd put my rain suit on at the house — so at least I had that going for me — but I had to stop at Hardee's and wait for a cup of coffee. By the time I got to the overlook, it was still dark, still raining and the wind was howling. Not a lot of picture-taking going on.  So I just stick to walking my laps.

I take a break, have some coffee, go back to the overlook and this is waiting for me.  You could have knocked me over with a feather.  And my camera and tripod were still in the truck.  Fortunately, it lasted a long time and I was able to get everything set up and still get the picture.   I was lucky.
