Walking the Dog -- Fall Edition
Interestingly, the color looked better on the Bankhead Trail today than in previous days. There still isn't any oranges or reds but...it's not bad. Anyway, the shot with the dog-walkers in it won today. At the Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
It was a cloudy morning so I decided to shoot several scenes with the the Color Balance on Daylight and Cloudy to compare them. (The joys of using a tripod.) The "Cloudy" (warmer) version won every time. It's not really a surprise — warm colors look better warmer — but it's nice to confirm "truths" every once in a while.
