Propaganda Instead of Advertising

Attention Get the Flick readers. In the future, I will be replacing the word “advertising” with the word “propaganda” -- advertising propaganda -- in order to call your attention to my belief that Americans will believe anything they read, see or hear more than six times.

In case you haven’t noticed, people believe Facebook to be worth $100 billion. That is based entirely on selling advertising propaganda. Think about it. All their content comes from you and me -- conversations, pictures and links. All they sell is access to an audience for advertising propaganda. The people paying for access to this audience aren’t stupid. Advertising Propaganda works.

That is all.
