You Had to Be There
This may be one of those "you had to be there" moments but…I took about 200 frames of this scene unfolding and I'm going to use it.
Mist was blowing by the overlook on Monte Sano all morning. I heard thunder and pulled out the weather radar on my phone. A line of thunderstorms had formed overheard and quickly blew off to the east. It never rained on me — but it started raining between me and the sunrise. It wasn't overly dramatic or anything, it was just different. As soon as the Sun cleared the cloud you see here, everything went white and gold because there was so much moisture in the air.
From the overlook at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
