Winter Solstice Summer Sunrise

Okay, so it was actually the day after the winter solstice (it was overcast the day of) but unless I had told you (okay the bare tree gives it away) you'd swear it was a summer sunrise.  It was cold and there was a decent breeze — yet there was still a lot of haze.  Again, I don't know what normal is here so I can't say it was abnormal.  But it sure looked that way to me.  Pretty — but not normal.
