Leaf Check -- October 22
It was such a nice, cool morning I walked the extra 1/4 mile past my normal turnaround point on the Bankhead Trail. This is the view from the same overlook I go to on most mornings, just a little over an hour after the Sun came up.
It was an interesting view for that time of day but the main thing to note is the leaves. They've barely changed at all. And while you can't tell it from this picture, a lot of leaves have already fallen. If I was in Georgia I'd tell you it wasn't normal but I'm not and I don't know what normal is here. So I'll just show up and photograph what I get.
