From Green to Bronze

One of my favorite sections of the Bankhead Trail fades on one side from green to bronze on the other side. One of the mild irritants of moving is that I don't know what "normal" is, here in Alabama.  I don't think of August as a transitional month — where Fall color starts showing — but maybe it is. 

I guess I'll just hang out and see.  From Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
