(Yesterday) -- John Hopkins CSSE is reporting 8,338,179 cases of COVID-19 in the US as of 5:00 AM, October 22, 2020.

That's 71,048 new cases compared to yesterday's 63,382 new cases. 840 Americans died from COVID-19 yesterday.
