(Yesterday) -- John Hopkins CSSE is reporting 4,620,502 cases of COVID-19 in the US as of 5:00 AM, August 2, 2020.

That's 47,455 new cases compared to yesterday's 58,332 new cases.  411 Americans deaths from COVID-19 were recorded this Sunday.
