Sunburst Near Solstice
It's a little over the top for my taste, but I know some folks that are crazy about seeing the Sun for sunrise.
Despite the clouds you see, there was absolutely no color this morning before sunrise. After official sunrise — but before the Sun broke the horizon at the lake — the clouds near the Sun turned brown. Swear. I'd already entitled a picture "How Now Brown Cloud". The pictures were unusual but not that pretty. So, I decided to put one up for the Sun-worshipers.
An absolutely lovely morning. If it wasn't a record low, it was near it. The skies were as blue as I've ever seen them in June. I wish every summer could be like this.
