March 23rd in TrumpWorld
I had this idea. Americans have notoriously short memories and some folks seem to think they would be better off with Donald J. Trump as President. Really? Let me remind you what it was like on just this one date, back when we lived in TrumpWorld.

"False. Mr. Trump was referring to an article published online on Jan. 19 and in print on Jan. 20 that disclosed that American law enforcement and intelligence agencies were examining intercepted communications and financial transactions as part of a broad investigation into possible links between Russian officials and associates of Mr. Trump."
Trump has been under investigation for his Russia ties so he distracts and obscures by accusing President Obama of tapping his phones.

"Now, as he weighs whether to be interviewed by Mr. Mueller, the president will be advised by a cadre of lawyers better known for their television and advocacy work than their courtroom triumphs.
This week, the president hired Joseph E. diGenova, a longtime Washington lawyer who has pushed the theory on Fox News that the F.B.I. and Justice Department framed Mr. Trump."

"Since Mr. Mueller’s appointment in May 2017, his team has focused on how Russian operatives sought to sway the outcome of the 2016 presidential race and whether anyone tied to the Trump campaign, wittingly or unwittingly, cooperated with them. While the inquiry, started months earlier by the F.B.I., unearthed a far-ranging Russian influence operation, no public evidence emerged that the president or his aides illegally assisted it."

"Chloroquine has been much in the news this past week, thanks to speculation about its use against the coronavirus — some of which was repeated by President Trump at a news briefing at the White House on Friday."
"Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, followed the president’s remarks with a warning that there was only “anecdotal evidence” that chloroquine might work."
"Nevan Krogan, a biologist at the University of California, San Francisco, who led the new study, warned that chloroquine might have many toxic side effects, because the drug appears to target many human cellular proteins."

March 23, 2021 Trump is no longer President but the stench still lingers.
"Investigators have for weeks focused on the role of the militia in the attack on the Capitol by a pro-Trump mob."

Ringing any bells? Every, single day it was "What did he do now?". He didn't really care if it was good or bad -- just so long as he was in the spotlight. Remember?
If it bothers you that I'm using the New York Times as my source -- tough. It's called "the paper of record" for a reason. And I have a subscription. If you think I'm not being "Fair & Balanced", you are right. I am not. But I am being truthful. And I'm hoping that's the part that hurts the worst.
