The Better Picture

A couple of friends and I took a hike out to Stone Cuts and — seeing as we were close — decided we'd go to the Golan Heights too.  While I was photographing a cliff at the Heights, Mike went over to the next cliff and was taking pictures of me taking pictures.  I returned the favor.  I'm pretty sure I got the better picture.

I mean, it's not Paulina in Dior but I liked it better than any of the other pictures I got this morning.  I sometimes think I should put more figures in landscapes but not a lot of people enjoy getting up for the sunrise on a cold winter's day.

Stone Cuts (a rock formation) and the Golan Heights are both in the Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville, Alabama.
