Working the Web
It was just one of those mornings where everything clicked. I got some decent pictures of the sunrise and a bunch with the weekend crowds visiting Monte Sano State Park. But, while hiking up the Bankhead Trail, I noticed this spider sitting in the middle of its web. The problem was, I couldn't get an angle on it where the Sun would light up the web. (It was hanging over a ditch.) Anyway, I keep working it and noticed I could get the holes in the forest canopy to show up as bokeh, so I went with that.
And I really had to work for this one. The autofocus wouldn't lock up on it so I would have to focus as well as my old eyes would allow, then look at it on the review screen, enlarged, to see if I was in the ball park. It was tedious but worth it.
