But It Kind Of Does
As I said earlier, the woodland sunflowers are having quite a year. In addition, at this time of year, the rising Sun will peek through the tree canopy at just the right spot for this stand of sunflowers. So I keep shooting this shot — over and over. But as the zoomers will tell you, it doesn't work. In order to get the Sun to star, I have to use a small aperture. That, of course, means I have to have a long exposure. Even if I run the ISO way up. I haven't found a day yet where the Sun is shining and the flowers were still enough for a multi-second exposure. So the shot never works. But it kind of does.
