Everybody's a Photographer

Photographer or videographer I guess I should say.  But besides a fun picture, I wanted to draw your attention to something.  Look at the dirt — in the image on the phone and the real stuff in the background beyond the phone.  See the color difference?  See the vibrant blue and red in the phone's image?  Which is right?

Well, it's like that line in the song from the Moody Blues:

"Cold-hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colors from our sight
Red is gray and yellow white
But we decide which is right
And which is an illusion"

Actually, the "we" is Apple and Android.  They now decide what is "right'  I spent a lot of the rodeo looking up at the big screen TV and noticing the image on it looked a whole lot better than what I was seeing with my own eyes.  The dirt was red.  The colors vibrant.  And the scene appeared well lit.  The "illusion" was better than real life.  In real time.

That's world altering.  (In more ways than one.)  Think about it.  Imagine real life never looking as good as what you see on a screen.  Not a beach, a sunset, a flower or a woman.
