Beauty is in the Blue
It was a wild morning on Monte Sano. Fog started filling the valleys, a broken layer was moving in from the west to the clear skies inn the east…you could tell things were going to happen. So right as sunrise, the fog kept building until all but the highest hilltops were showing and the sky was glowing gold. But, no matter what exposure I used, I could not get the blue to show up on the shadowed side of the mountains. So I did something a little crazy. I switched the White Balance to "Incandescent". That brought out the blue.
