A Soaring Sunrise

I really didn't want to go this morning.  It was supposed to be raining.  And there was a wind advisory — blowing up the 30 mph.  You can't make pictures in blowing rain at sunrise.  Not without getting your equipment soaked.  But you can't get lucky if you don't show up.

It was an amazing sunrise. "Soaring" would be an apt descriptor.  But this buzzard flew by so I'll let the picture do the talking while I go edit the others.
