Venus Over Gurley

Venus was rising over Gurley, Alabama this morning when I arrived at the overlook at Monte Sano State Park.  Again, I was surprised by how hazy it was on such a cold day: 16ºF (-9ºC).  But maybe it was the haze that brought out the green layer in the sky.
