Soft-focus Fungi

What can I say?  The visibility was zero this morning so — again — I got nothing for a sunrise.  But the fog is really interesting on the trail and it lights up all sorts of things — including these mushrooms.

The mushrooms are at the wrong end of a dead tree that feel across the trail long ago.  There is so much brush and so many rocks that I can't get close to them.  Hence the telephoto shot and the soft-focus feel — courtesy of the fog.
