(Yesterday) -- John Hopkins CSSE is reporting 20,429,852 cases of COVID-19 in the US as of 5:00 AM, January 3, 2021.

That's  new 209,365 cases compared to yesterday's 294,544 new cases. 1,385 Americans died from COVID-19 yesterday (Sunday).
