(Yesterday) -- John Hopkins CSSE is reporting 22,618,071 cases of COVID-19 in the US as of 5:00 AM, January 12, 2021.

That's 228,739 new cases compared to yesterday's 208,942 new cases.  4,516 Americans died from COVID-19 yesterday.
