Both Ways

I shot this as sort of an environmental portrait. Despite the incessant proddings of a friend, I never  think to shoot in the square format mode. But it's probably her fault that I thought to crop this one square.  

To be honest, I like it both ways. There's more a a sense of place with more fence and the (cropped out) silo in the background. But it works cropped in and, well, most parents prefer to see their kids up close. They're pretty incessant too.
