I'm Afraid It's Broken
The sky turned off a lot better than expected this morning. At least for a little while. But as beautiful as it is, I'm afraid it's broken. The sky, that is. It's about the third or fourth time I've seen a winter sky this summer. I mean, as hot as it is, you'd expect cumulonimbus clouds right? It's hot, hazy and humid. Where are the thunderstorms? Why are we having cirrus clouds in summer?
I just looked up "cirrus clouds" on Wikipedia -- because that's what I do.
"A warming earth will likely produce more cirrus clouds, potentially resulting in a self-reinforcing loop."
Hmmm….
