Mackinac Island Tulips
Another rainy morning on Monte Sano. Fortunately for me (and you), I still have plenty of pictures from my trip to Michigan that you haven't seen.
I have to say, I'm really shocked by this one. This is on the main street of Mackinac Island at 10:45AM on a cloudless, perfect day. Blazing sunshine, handheld, typical-tourist shot. But it worked.
Seriously, I never shoot middle-of-the-day pictures in the sunshine. I was just walking around with my (non-photographer) traveling partners, seeing the sights. But you just never know. You might as well try. (By the way, these are the biggest tulips I've ever seen. Twice as big as what I plant.)
