September 3 at 6:23:21AM. At least that’s what my camera’s clock says. (Monte Sano was fogged in today -- Sept. 7th.) If I knew how to do the fancy math, I could factor in my elevation and set the clock on my camera to the Sun.
Just a little trivia for you, when the late Jimmy Buffet wrote the song, “Math Suks”, he was taking a course on celestial navigation — how to navigate by the Sun, Moon and stars. If you want to geek out on the subject, watch the movie, “Longitude”. You might learn something.
