Big Lens Bee
I should really pull out the big lens more often. Anyone that has followed along as I take pictures over the years knows that I "see far". I'm always looking to the horizon. Or for the bird in the tree across the field. So I bought the 200-500mm because it fits the way I see. But it's such a beast to carry around.
Anyway, I set it up on a tripod in the back yard to catch some pictures of my wildflower garden, between the gusts of wind, and the next thing you know, I'm chasing bees around. I love the limited depth of field I get out of it and it is so sharp, compared to the 18-300mm I use every day.
