Bolt From the Blue
When I got to the mountain this morning — at o'dark thirty — I kept noticing a flash out of the corner of my eye, as I was setting up. I opened up the weather radar ap on my phone and sure enough, there was a little thunderstorm out to the northeast. About 100 miles away.
I was really surprised it was out there. I was even more surprised I actually got a picture of a lightning bolt out of it.
